FRESNO, CA

Solar panel cleaning in Fresno.

Harvest dust and summer grime, washed off.

Why Fresno panels get dirty fast

Fresno sits in the middle of the San Joaquin Valley, surrounded by farmland. In late summer and early fall, almond and raisin harvests send fine dust into the air for weeks, and a lot of it lands on rooftops across the city, not just on homes next to orchards.

Add long, dry summers with little rain to rinse anything off, freeway grime near Highway 99, 41 and 180, and birds that like warm rooftops, and panels can look gray long before you'd expect.

What we see on Fresno roofs

Many Fresno homes have concrete tile roofs, which are uneven and easy to crack when walked carelessly. We plan each roof before we climb and clean from safe footing. On shingle and flat roofs we deal with the same dust plus baked-on droppings that sit through the hottest months.

When to book in Fresno

A lot of Fresno owners clean after harvest season, once the dust settles in fall, and again before the long summer stretch when their system is working hardest. If you're next to an orchard, a field or an unpaved road, you may need it more often. We'll tell you what we see instead of pushing a schedule.

Getting a quote in Fresno

Text us your panel count, roof type and neighborhood, whether that's the Tower District, north Fresno near the river bluffs or a newer subdivision out toward the edges of town. A quick photo of the roof helps us see the angle, height and access before we quote. We schedule around Fresno's heat and try to clean in the cooler morning hours in summer.
